Read a Good Book, Do a Good Deed
The fine folks at Press 53, who recently published my sweet Pinckney's gorgeous story collection, MIRACLE BOY and also publish our SURREAL SOUTH series, are doing a good deed for our soldiers. If you purchase any Press 53 book between now and Flag Day, June 14th, Press 53 will send a copy of the book you purchase to an in-service soldier in your name. How cool is that? Soldiers will be selected from www.anysoldier.com. Our family has sent packages through AnySoldier in the past--they're a terrific organization. Ask any soldier--it means a lot when we remember them!
