Update: The Liar's Diary Blog Day. Did You Hear?

The Liar's Diary Blog day was a HUGE success! By the end of Tuesday, we had word of nearly 400 bloggers who were blogging for Patry Francis. And I also read in many blogs' comments that others were planning to blog as well. (A special THANK YOU to the members of redroom.com who really represented.) What was the result? Big smiles from Patry! Oh, and that other thing...The Liar's Diary rose from around the 66000 mark on Tuesday morning to #285 Tuesday night. And it was #1 in the psychological suspense category for much of the day.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to all of you who participated--either by blogging or by purchasing Patry's book! It was a stunning demonstration of the power of community and how it transcends these little pages of bits and bytes.

YAY for you! YAY for Patry!

I am very late to the party, but I wanted to say how wonderful I think it is, that not only did you have this great idea to help a blog friend, but most of all you took the step forward to make the good idea a reality. I'm so happy for Patry and everyone involved that it was such a success!

Tinker, I'm so flattered that you dropped by! I loved your Patry blog--it was so personal, and your words about her book were so very insightful.

Glad you're feeling better!

It *is* a wonderful book! I read it through once more for the interview with Patry for Crimespree magazine and enjoyed it all over again.

I'm so glad you were part of the fun ravenous reader!
